Brian Dawkins is my favorite Eagle, and probably my favorite NFL player of all-time. With that being said though, he's still more than above average at his position. He struggled last year, but has looked all right so far this season. Boy if I could, I'd wish this man will play football forever with the Eagles. It'll be said the day he retires. I hope he won't end up like Jeremiah Trotter in a couple of years.
Dawkins has been a great player for so long... The last couple of years his play hasn't been the same as the Dawkins that I remember roaming the backfield in the early 2000s. He's still an intimidating presence for WRs when they cross the middle; but his coverage skills have declined with age.
