A second examination on Chicago White Sox utilityman Dayan Viciedo's fractured right thumb confirmed the injury Friday, but there was some good news. White Sox doctors upgraded Viciedo's recovery time, saying there is a chance he could resume full baseball activities in 2-4 weeks. That's an upgrade from the original 3-4 week diagnosis.
