    TNT just reported that Indiana turned down the Maggette deal because the Pacers doctors couldn't clear him with his injury.

    I saw...I'm curious as to how Maggette would have fit Indy's style...Maggette thrives in an open, transition game and Indy loved to slow the ball and milk the clock...but I do believe that, talent wise, Maggette would have been as even talent-wise as Indy will receive for Artest...

    I am glad this deal did not go down. I think it would have been a fair trade for both teams. I just hope the Warriors can pull this trade off fast because we are drowning right now...

    Meh, that's debatable. Maggette can play either way. He loves isolations and post ups where he can get to the basket, or draw fouls, and he's also good at shooting or penetrating off the curl, so it wouldn't affect him to play halfcourt basketball at all. The Clips haven't really been a fast break team the past few years, Indy would have just as many FB oppurtunities.
