    When someone is on my ignore list, I want to ignore them. I don't want to have to see threads made by them. I don't want to see anyone's replies to their posts. In short, I want them not to exist.

    Either ban the troll, or make my ignore feature actually ignore him.

    This is something to take up with Administrators (users who's names are in blue). The moderators on this forum don't have any control over how the Ignore function works. We also don't have the power to ban, but it's worth noting that no one who isn't breaking rules is likely to be banned. Simply having an unpopular viewpoint isn't grounds for being banned.
