I'm fucking tired of being stuck in mediocrity, i'm fucking tired of hearing names like Nurkic or Tyson Chandler.

Since Oshey arrived here in Portland has always talked about trade that moves the needle without ever doing one of them, IT'S FUCKING TIME TO DO ONE.

Trade all we have to offer for Paul George or the take the offer of the Bucks for Lillard (Jabari Parker).

In the first case we could contend right away.
In the second case we could tank a couple of years while evaluating McCollum and Nurkic and also waiting for Jabari to come back.

    1st scenario
    Lillard
    CJ
    George
    X
    X

    2nd scenario
    Ball/Fultz/Smith
    CJ
    Doncic
    Parker
    Nurkic

please do something NEIL OLSHEY, WE'RE FUCKING TIRED OF BEING STUCK IN MEDIOCRITY

It amazes me how impatient people are. LaMarcus left us high and dry two summers ago. We are halfway through our second season after virtually tearing down our roster and rebuilding it from scratch. Last season was a miracle. Rebuilding takes time. We are super fortunate to have two very talented young guards on our roster. I swear some of you have been bitching like we have been a horrible team for 20 years straight. We have just had some really bad luck. Every time we get close to pulling ourselves up, we suffer a major injury or someone leaves. Brandon Roy, Greg Oden, and LaMarcus Aldridge have all severely altered the course of this franchise in their own way. It takes time to come back from this.

Do you think if I did the old "Homeboy Shopping Network" trick and put on the Valet Jacket, Neil would drive up and automatically hand me his keys? If we ever want to get in touch with him, that might be a good trick? Let me go get a Michelin Guide......

It's best to just ignore threads like this. They go away quicker.

    Dear Neil,

You should consider changing your name to Neal. Anyways, I digress.

I think you should totally trade everything humanly possible (including things that are not human) for a new player, so that way the Trail Blazers will be the best team in the league. I mean, take for example Paul George. He's totally lead his Pacers teams to the promised land. And by Promised Land I mean "hey, we were promised something better. When will it happen?"

Because god knows that trading half of your team for 1 player works out every single time.

    Hope this helps Neil!

What is wrong with the thread?

Passionate fan that wants his team to win......Sounds like the exact type of thread we should all be encouraging, not mocking

I never said it was not okay to post. I think everyone should be able to voice their opinion no matter how ridiculous it is.

Are you here to make a claim that Jabari Parker for Damian Lillard would be a good trade for the Blazers? Or are you here to police people who disagree with the vocal minority?

Would you trade Lillard for Jabari Parker like he suggests?
