    I'd consider buying both MM.....I'm a tennis shoe guy but even with those I buy two pair at a time....

    The dress shoes are certainly more stylish, but you probably wouldn't have as many occasions to wear them. I think the answer is however you personally see that trade-off.

    My thought is that the sneakers can be worn with anything from shorts to business casual, where as the oxfords are a bit more formal and can only be worn with slacks or the right jeans
