Del Bosque Justifies Bojan Drop

Vicente Del Bosque might have taken over one of the most illustrious jobs in the world as Spain manager but it is also one of the most difficult bearing in mind the amount of talent he has at his disposal.

In choosing his most recent squad for the upcoming matches against Estonia and Belgium the ex-Real Madrid boss has decided to drop exciting young talent Bojan Krkic and today explained why.

"It is a theory shared throughout the world that this team was the best and not to change it," he started, "I believe that one must not be absolute, for stagnation is evil and we have to go about looking into other possibilities, but we have these two games and we want to assure we win this group."

"We have confidence in the team and there is no point changing just for the sake of changing," he explained.

The main reason it appears that Bojan has been dropped less than a month after making his international debut though is because of the returning Fernando Torres, as Del Bosque confirmed.

"Bojan will go with the under 21's as Torres is returning and [Alvaro] Arbeloa is coming in too with [Carlos] Marchena," he told the press.

Spain play their next two matches on the 11th October away at Estonia and then on the 15th away in Belgium.
