Del Worsham raced to the No. 1 qualifying position in Top Fuel at the Lucas Oil NHRA Nationals, powering his Al-Anabi dragster a 3.808-second run at 322.04 mph Saturday. Matt Hagan, Jason Line and Eddie Krawiec also topped their categories in the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series event at Brainerd International Raceway. Doug Kalitta secured his spot in the NHRA Full Throttle Countdown to the Championship, the six-race playoff for the world championship, by qualifying his dragster 13th in the field.
