<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">WASHINGTON -- Injured Indiana Pacers point guard Jamaal Tinsley believes he could have been back by now if doctors hadn't taken so long to find out what was wrong with his left foot. Tinsley likely won't be back this season.

"If they did what they were supposed to do from the beginning, maybe I would have been back," Tinsley said Sunday. "Everybody has their own opinion of what's wrong with me and what's not wrong with me. I knew I was hurting."

Tinsley has played just 42 minutes since hurting his foot Jan. 31. At first, the Pacers thought the injury wasn't serious. But he suffered a setback every time it seemed he was getting close to returning.

It took nearly two months before it was revealed last week that Tinsley has a mid-foot sprain and stretched ligament in his foot. He spent a week in New York recently seeing a foot specialist.

"I kept hearing a lot of stuff," Tinsley said. "It just gets frustrating when I'm not really knowing what's wrong and these guys are working on me not knowing either."

Because it took so long, Tinsley isn't optimistic he'll be back this season.

"It's going to be another month before I do anything," Tinsley said. "It's frustrating knowing I can't be there with Reggie Miller. He's done a lot for the game and I can't go out there and play with him."</div> Source

Tinsley needs to shut up and just go out and play. I got out and play ball everyday why doesn't he?

Do you play with a mid-foot sprain and stretched ligament in your foot? The truth is everytime he does play he aggravates the injury making it worse, slowing down his recovery. It would probably be better if he would just work on recovering from the injury and if he recovers in time, try to make it to the playoffs.

Tinsley needs to recover quickly. We are going to need him running the point, because...well...Anthony Johnson isn't the greatest PG out there.
