i think ben wants to go to law school or get his mba so this is clearly a departure from his public image. although, i wouldnt be shocked because most athletes are ignorant and ben i think comes from the south so i wouldnt be surprised if incest wasnt endemic to his family history.

After agreeing to a one-year $1.99M contract with Rasho Nesterovic, the Raptors have one spot left on the roster. The Toronto Star reports general manager Bryan Colangelo continues to negotiate with restricted free agent Carlos Delfino.

We have about $5 million before we hit the luxury tax. I wouldn't be surprised if they agree to a frontloaded 2 year deal. If negotiations really get desperate, BC's said he'll explore an inflated one year deal.

no, its an one year deal or nothing according to colangelo. i think we and sports writers have speculated about a multi year deal but colangelo has been consistent on only exploring a year deal which gives them the wiggle room needed under the cap for the proceeding years. btw, delfino says he might be out for six months with a shoulder injury

I honestly wouldn't mind looking elsewhere. i guess the only thing is that in going after Delfino we have more money to throw at him than whats left of our exceptions.

I didn't mind Delfino. I thought he was better than say Joey Graham, although his shooting can pretty bad/inconsistent.
