Tony Delk: "I'm watching guys learn how to play a game I already know how to play." it was just a random quote i was looking at http://www.hoopshype.com/salaries/seattle.htm i dont know when it was said or if its news to anyone but i can see where hes comin from hes been agood backup pg 4 several years and can light it up from downtown plus been hearin trade rumors about him
I've always been a Delk fan, and I hate the way he's rotting on Atlanta's bench. The quote is simple, but explains his situation perfectly. I'd love to see him traded to the Lakers for a 2nd Rnd pick or Slava's expiring K.
Simple, yet effective. Delk is a decent point guard who deserves a shot, especially once Atlanta figures out that Royal Ivey isn't their man... shapecity: I just realized that you're sporting a Leon Powe sig. See if I ever respond to one of your posts again. Ever!

Thanks for that. By the way, I just checked Cal's roster and found - to my amazement - that you have two Ivan Kovacevic's on your squad! Ironically, they both share #32, both are guards, same height and weight, both went to Laguna Beach HS, but one's hometown is Long Beach and the other's is Laguna Beach! It's a conspiracy! http://sports.yahoo.com/ncaab/teams/cah/roster
i'd want him to be traded to an elite team, maybe detroit. they could use him as a spark off the bench if anything ever happens to billups.
I really like Delk, seeing him play elsewhere would be great, although its not likely it will happen but It would be a good thing to revitalize his career. Delk is a great PG, I mean he's like a bigger Bobby Jackson, thats pretty good but he's old now and he's not going to get younger so the Hawks should get rid of him.
Delk WAS a good player but has not contributed anything of significance within the past two years...i believe he's pretty much done as a player...
If im not mistaken delk averaged around 12 points last season, comin off the bench. So I wouldnt say his career is done it just looks like they quit playin him
I thought Delk has been out pretty much all season? Maybe he's not physically ready to start playing 15-20 minutes on a daily basis... I'll be rooting for him to have a solid second half of the season, though!
