Jameer Nelson is a lot better. He sees players on the court better, uses both hands, good dribbler, better shooter, stronger, quicker, better defender, just a lot better than D. West.

I think Delonte has a lot more heart than Jameer does though and that's something you can't get from a stat line.
D-West is a great guy to have on a team. He's a pretty nice shooter, can play both guard positions if really needed despite being kind of undersized, and actually gives a sh*t about his team and how they do. I'm not going to speak for Jameer because I don't watch him play often, but I really doubt he puts in the amount of effort and heart that Delonte does, like POTG said.

Jameer Nelson makes nice passes, slashes and shoots. Basically, I think Nelson is a better PG than West making Nelson a better player. It might be true that West is a good player but seriously, I have hardly seen him play good. :ranting:
By the way, I wasn't saying with my post that Delonte is defintiely a better player, I was just saying some teams could find his heart and sh*t like that more valuable than just having a guy who can shoot the ball.

He is more of a combo guard and only plays point becuase Doc's an idiot and doesn't get that we have a true PG on the team in Rondo.Delonte also has the clutch factor over Nelson definitely. How many Celtics games have you seen? Probably not many because we had 0 national TV games. So you saw 4 max, and that's if you live in either Toronto, New York, New Jersey or Philadelphia.Delonte definitely is a good player, but he isn't used right.
Delonte is a terrific role scorer/defender to have on a team. Jameer Nelson is a starting point guard. I'd have to take Jameer in this one but they are both two great players. I would love to see Delonte on a team like Phoenix or Denver where he would have a chance to run the floor and pull the trigger on his 3-point shot. He's been F*cked around with so much in Boston.

Sorry, if that's not what you meant but Nelson has clutch too though.

Those are the ones that stick out in my mind, Delonte has always came up big for us in the clutch. Hell, even in 05 when we won in Phoenix (with Antoine), he was huge. Delonte is clutch. As for the comparison, I'll have to agree and say I'd probably say Jameer, especially as a point guard. I think Delonte is the better shooter and defender, but Jameer is more of a 1 than a 2, unlike Delonte. Both are pretty inconsistent though.
Jameer nelson is alot better. his game is more in tact then west. he also scores more and assists more.
