Earlier in the week the dude was advocating infanticide. Now he has to admit he is in the picture. Blackface or Klansman?
This is the difference between conservatives and progressives. I doubt many of progressives will defend him, but if there was an R behind his name, the conservatives on this board would go way out of their way to defend him.
sounds like an asshole....that photo though...how could anyone identify who the fuck those two idiots are...sort of the point of the hood wasn't it..deception? I have no idea who this Ralph Northam is anyway...fuck him
He’s a typical Democrat and infanticide is a major plank of the DNC 2020 Platform. Other planks include bankrupting Medicare, repealing The Constitution and stealing from Americans in the public and private sectors in ways too numerous to mention. Oh, and rounding up the Jews again.
Well they were! But they are abandoning ship tonight after finding the Blackface and the Klansman. It doesn't matter which he was. The are abandoning him, calling for resignation.
Without knowing a thing and just looking at the pictures, it looks like a parody of sorts. “See, Blacks and Kkk can get along and stand together?” Id say if so then burn the threads and stand together without masks...but...
Wrong. Did faux news tell you that? Your president endorsed Roy Moore and pardoned the Arizona racist sherrif. Explain that one.
what part of 'ON THIS BOARD' did you not understand? I'm willing to best most of the democrats/progressives on this board (what I was talking about) had no clue who the hell this guy was. Hell, I still don't.
Isn't this around 35 years old? Don't know the guy but....if he hasn't been a bad guy all these years why are we supposed to care?
What he said? It's a photograph. I suppose it is worth a thousand words, but it isn't actually words. barfo
You have a point. I think maybe the problem is that he didn't handle the existence of the photo well. He could have brought it up himself at some point and explained how it happened and why he's not a racist, he's matured, he was on drugs, his dog died, whatever/etc. But he hoped someone wouldn't find it (which isn't very smart) and then didn't have a good explanation ready when it was found. For those reasons, he probably should resign. I don't think the existence of the picture should disqualify him, but his poor handling of it should. He had 35 years to figure it out, and he didn't. barfo
I'd prefer that we didn't comb through everything other people did and look for a gotcha bitch moment.
Me too. Maybe for the younger generations, who will have nearly every moment of their lives recorded, the availability of dirt on every possible candidate will render dirt useless politically? barfo
Or it might make it inexcusable. They knew it would be out there for everyone to see. About the same time as this photo I was in middle school. We had what they called a slave sale. I was literally bought by a girl at my school and had to do what she said the next day. She took me around school on a leash the next day. Luckily for me because she ended up being my first for everything. Everything...I didn't even know girls could BE like that before this happened. I don't recall any of us even discussing a "slave sale" being offensive or wrong at all. We were kids. What the administration thought about it you'd have to go back in time and ask them.
I hope so because it sure isn't the case now>>> Quote from Howard Shultz "This is the problem with our politics today. Both sides have decided that the way to win is no longer to persuade those in the middle, but rather to throw red meat to their hardcore supporters and get them more worked up than those on the other side. Lost in the shuffle are millions of reasonable, persuadable citizens who are left to choose between two unpalatable alternatives." HS
