Does anybody still think Joe Wilson was wrong for yelling, "Liar!"? http://thehill.com/blogs/blog-brief...back-id-requirement-for-immigrant-healthcare#
So you are glad that he was totally inappropiate during a presidential address. I guess some people were glad a journalist threw a shoe at Bush during a press conference . . . I don't get it. There are other, more mature ways, to get a point across, IMO.
It was inappropiate but it's peanuts compared to what the democrats want to approve. Healthcare for illegals?
Not many as effective, though. Appropriate or not, it was factual, and it has shined a light on the lies the BSer-in-Chief was spinning.
And there it is. You can write specific language in the health care bill saying illegals aren't covered, but without enforcement mechanisms, that language is worth as much as the Charmin I wiped my ass with this morning.
I'm glad you can still buy Charmin. We've cut back and are using Kirkland to cut expenses. I can't wait to get back to Charmin!
If you really like Charmin, you should just buy it. If I were homeless I would turn down ketchup that isn't Heinz. I only like Pop Tart brand pop tarts and Kraft Cheese and Macaroni. Some things you just can't scrimp on. Having said that, Great Value from Walmart has bitchin Shake and Bake type stuff for pork chops. MMMMMMMM, pork chops (homer voice)
I have two young daughters and a wife who believe they must use many more sheets than necessary after taking a leak. I think I'm saving a dinner a week on the Kirkland.
...but I thought a high number of illegals had cards and paid their taxes, wouldnt' they also have IDs?
I wonder if all this immigration stuff is being used to help pass the bill. It seems the focus has been taken off the cost and whether it is a good idea and more to the issue of illegal immigrants getting health care. If they cave and allow for strict enforcement of healthcare to illegal immigrants, does that get the bill passed without a lot of conflict? I don't know if this plan is going to work . . . but I'm happy this issue (healthcare) is finally being addressed on this kind of level with this much open debate. . . not just words thrown out as political posturing.
