04-04) 16:03 PDT Chicago (AP) -- Chicago Bulls rookie forward Luol Deng is expected to miss the rest of the season with a torn ligament in his right wrist, Bulls general manager John Paxson said Monday. Deng, a starter who averages 11.7 points and 5.3 rebounds, likely will undergo surgery after an MRI Sunday night revealed a torn ligament in his wrist. The injury occurred during the Bulls' 94-86 win over Memphis on March 28. He played in wins at Charlotte and against Cleveland, but sat out Saturday's game against the Hornets because of the injury. The Bulls' last regular-season game is April 20. "That's a huge blow to us," Paxson said. "We were so lucky early on with no injuries and now we have a bunch." http://sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/n.../s160353D18.DTL
Huge blow for the Bulls, although they are so deep It shouldn't effect them as much. Nocioni can do a soild job starting.
