Not a single dog on the roster.

I'm outraged!

Merge. Didn’t need it’s own thread.

I personally feel they should have kept either Chriss or Patterson as well or they need to fill that 15th spot with a big or a DOG

100% agree. Maybe they think they can find a better big than chriss. If so they better do so quick.
One of nurk or zeller out is basically a loss.

one injury from a lottery pick team if one of them go down for a duration.

But didn’t a bunch on here say this bench was OBVIOUSLY better than Stott’s bench?
When healthy they will be.
Smith, Simons, Naz, Zel, Nance, & Snell offers both scoring and defense.

"Shrug"

Some fans just don't take injury issues seriously. A healthy Nance would be a really nice upgrade - but if he plays 60+ games it will be a shock. Some people are big Zeller fans, but he is another guy you can't count on to be available.

Of course, you also have the eternal optomists convinced Little and Simons will suddenly improve.

Imagine if Zeller, Nance and Little all get injured around the same time though.

After we acquired Nance some were saying we could be a top team in the west too. As in #1 or #2 seed.

We will miss Kanter and Melo. Fans just want to try to place blame on someone for our struggles and they were easy targets.

Dame gonna be getting antsy if we start out flat. A real shame we couldn't build him a winner.

It was the best move....also I think Greg Brown should get the minutes Patterson, Chriss or Cook would've eaten up anyway. We still have a roster spot if we need it anytime soon

Obviously better defensively. Likely worse offensively.

The big issue last year was playing both Kanter and Melo on defense - that was too much. Should have probably kept one of them, likely Kanter.
I hear you, but I don’t do that. The bench is either better LAST season or THIS? No picking and choosing like who had better shoe game or who was cuter. Either this season is better, or last.

If Brown EVER sees the floor, the season is lost.

No clue, honestly. I did not see enough of Zeller or Nance to form an opinion. I remember Nance a little from his Lakers days and always thought he was a solid+ player and I kind of remember him going for alley-oops in the last year or two when Lebron was still in Cleveland, but some years passed since... I did see enough of EK and Melo on D to be sure that it could not be any worse on that end.

I’ve always known how important D is, but you still gotta out score the other team.

If you think we'll play a whole season without garbage time.....you've already lost ...the guys we waived weren't going to change anything as far as our big rotation...we usually throw a rookie into the fire for those stellar blowout finishes when you're down 20 or up 20...you need that guy! Kid can rebound...

I will be honest with you, I am not that worried about that, I am a lot more worried about health/availability. Looking at WS/48 Zeller == Kanter and Nance > Melo. The problem is health, because if they are not playing, they are not contributing.

KInd of like LA when they are healthy totally different team.
But the thing is, I’m not naive to think LA will stay healthy. Shit I don’t even plan on it. Where as people on here are actually hinging our success this season on it. “If Zeller stays healthy” cmon.
