I met again with a large group of MD's as well as DMD's. The MD's note their fees will have to go up as a result of Obamacare and health care policies will have to rise as well to handle the raise in taxes, fees and doctor's charges. So the question was, does Obamacare cover dental & vision coverages? If not, since people will be paying more for healthcare and insurance, will they stop paying dentists & eye doctors?

    Anyone know?

The answer is yes, demand for dentists and eye doctors will drop to zero and all dentists and eye doctors will be re-purposed as low-grade fertilizer. This is mandated by section 902.23(D)(iv) of the healthcare law and will go into effect in 2013.

Get your teeth and eyes fixed now.

How much will the fertilizer cost? When you say low-grade, can I get a comparison to a current fertilizer? What will the supply of this new fertilizer be like?

Finally I can afford to fertilize my veggie garden.

People don't realize the many little side benefits of this bill. It's like the little things a player does for his team that don't show up in the stat sheet.

    1. Most people will pay less, not more, for healthcare.

    2. Good luck with those doctors raising their prices, as they will more likely have to reduce them to stay in business. Insurance companies will only pay them what they want to, regardless of what the docs think they are worth. Everyone I have discussed this with at Bend Medical Center and St. Charles Hospital seem united in favor of the bill as a great start in the right direction. No physician I know is opposed to it.
