<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Philadelphia - Something happened - something few probably thought would make a difference - on the way to the Nuggets' blowout of Philadelphia that wasn't.

One line in the game's third quarter play-by-play report says it all - "3:46 Green for Jackson."

After 76ers coach Jim O'Brien did not deem Willie Green worthy of one minute in his previous two games, the guard responded with a season-high 17 points in 15 minutes Tuesday in his team's 110-102 victory over Denver at the Wachovia Center.

It all happened after the Nuggets led 77-59 on an alley-oop windmill dunk from Kenyon Martin to Carmelo Anthony 12 seconds before Green's first appearance in the game as a sub for Marc Jackson. The Sixers (9-12) outscored Denver 51-25 from there.

The Nuggets' first loss by single digits could go down as their biggest.

"It was one of them games where we'll look back at the end of the year as a game we should've won," point guard Andre Miller said. "We got a little bit passive and lost a lot of points in a little amount of time. ... They just went on a run. We didn't make any adjustments.

"We just kept playing. They just kept scoring."

Guard Greg Buckner, who admitted afterward he really wanted to win this game against a former team he feels disregarded him, took the loss even harder.</div> This was a tough loss for the nuggets and im really dissapointed in them. Thoughts?

My thoughts are I was disappointed too. I thought by the third quarter when they had an 18 pt lead, they would make this road trip 3-1, but they had to end up with 2-2 instead. Good news is with things going with the Celtic game now, I expect them to up that record to 3-2 on the road.

EDIT: WHOOOOOOOOOOOAAA Melo with three seconds left... I almost had a heart attack after they blew another lead, this time a 5 point lead with just 1 minute over in the regulation, and the Celts actually took the lead at 99-98 on Paul Pierce's two free throws with 9 seconds left. And Melo buried a jump shot with three ticks left to win it 100-99 as Pierce missed the final jumper. [IMG] [IMG] :jumping:
