Ginobili is a restricted free agent whose rights are owned by the San Antonio Spurs and if he indeed decides to sign the offer sheet they will have until July 29th to match. The offer is believed to start at $9 million dollars. </div>

Manu's agent Don Harris said this rumour is false, no offer has been made.

I found it weird that it wasn't posted on ESPN yet, but rather Real GM.

However, sources have said he will make his decision soon.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Manu Ginobili is quick on the court and wants to be quick in figuring out where he'll play next season.

"He wants to make up his mind," Rudoy said Sunday. "He wants to get this moving."

Rudoy said he will have "serious conversations" with Denver Nuggets general manager Kiki Vandeweghe and assistant general manager Jeff Weltman today or Tuesday. Vandeweghe said the Nuggets will "probably reach out" to Rudoy today.</div>

The phrase "serious conversations" has been tossed all over the place in regards to the Nuggets. They have a second meeting with Kobe Bryant on Thursday, so I doubt this rumor is true. I'm sure the Nuggets want to see what their chances are with Kobe and Kenyon Martin, before they make any offer to Ginobili. A 6 year, $9M contract is about right for Gino, the Spurs will likely match any offer he gets, unless it's ridiculous, in which case they would bring back SJax.

I'm betting the Nuggets won't get him. Spurs will most likely match any offer. Won't hurt the Nuggets too much. It'll give em more money to attempt to go for Kobe. I thought I also heard that they were going to talk to Kenyon Martin or have spoke with him. Not totally sure on that though. But, yea, even if they don't get Ginobli, it's not a huge loss. There are a ton of good free agent shooting guards out there. Ginobli, Bryant, Crawford, QRich. I think that there might be more, but, those are the 4 main ones I can think of. Not saying Denver will go after or is interested in them, but, the fact that they're out there just leaves the possibility.

I expect this offer to be matched if it is true, the Spurs like Manu and 9 Mil is right up his alley...i dont expect him to be a Nugget next year

Yeah if an offer is made to Ginobili then we know Kob ewill probally not go to the Nuggets because Denver has said they would go after Ginobili if they couldnt get Kobe.

Darn. I was hoping that they get Manu. For selfish reasons of course. If they do get Manu, they'll be out of the running for Kenyon.
