Have won 10 of their last 11 games, the only loss against Phoenix. They play a fair chunk of their remaining games at home.

If we don't get our act together, the unthinkable could still happen (and yes, I'm aware I was the one who started the magic number countdown).

    Relax.

I thought I was supposed to be the paranoid poster in this forum.

This thread I think is a bit premature. Denver has 18 games yet and are 19 games in back of the 10 games behind the Sonics. I don't think they will win it. Relax, Supersonic.

I may as well add that it would be ironic if a George Karl coached Denver team came back to bite the Sonics in the ass, remembering back to whatever year that was when we won 69 games or whatever and they ousted us in the first round, with Mutombo on the ground snuggling the ball after the final buzzer sounded.

I think our Denver team can make some noise in the playoffs, but I doubt the 3rd seeded Sonics will meet the Nuggets in the first round. I think with how few the games remain in our schedules, there're not enough games for us to move up in the standings... the most we could climb is imo 7th... but it would be still extremely difficult to catch up on those 3.5 games and 7th-seeded Memphis keeps winning despite playing without Gasol for quite some time. And I don't see Seattle moving up to no. 2, let alone no. 1 so I don't think you guys we'll meet us Nuggets early in the playoffs.
