Denver will surprise people this offseason.... Great management (no issel) and a great young core..... Brand will resign with the clips for the qualifying offer so he is not stuck there for 7 years by himself if they were to match an offer sheet he signed.... Denvers targets are Gilber arenas(a 20year old PG/SG who is a much cheaper option than overrated Andre Miller) cory Maggette who can slide between the 2 and 3 and Odom... But odom might be in the same boat as elton and wont sign anywhere for the simple fear. out of bad luck i have the nuggets getting the 2nd pick in the draft. Their choice Darko Milicic..... 2003 lineup: c- nene 6'11 260 pf- milicic 7'0 250 sf- white 6'9 220 sg- maggette 6'6 230 pg- arenas 6'3 190 very athletic lineup...... but i will tell ya... Kiki will rip the clippers off this offseason.....
They will have a lot of cap so they will have a very good offseason. But I dont know if the warriors are gonna let anyone take arenas they will probably try to resign him. Odom wants to go to Miami. And the nuggets could easily get maggette. Also welcome to the boards.
The big question is, can the Nuggets draw some big names? No one wants to go there if they aren't going to win, so they first need a brave soul to sign with them before they can get other names. If a star sees that there is some good talent there, he may decide to take a chance on bringing them to respectability, and thus, be praised like Kidd. I don't know who they'll sign, but they need some help from one guy first.
Denver should have a good offseason and get some good names on there team. I cant wait till the offseason beacue its going to be really fun for all the teams really.
