    QB - Johnson / Griese
    RB - Garner
    WR - McCardell
    WR - Lee
    TE - Moore

So many questions surround the one time World Champs, just 2 seasons removed. Who will the team turn to as their leader? Will Brad Johnson hold onto his starting job or will now turned journeyman Brian Griese take over and call Tampa home? How much gas is left in Garner's tank? Do the Bucs have enough talent at receiver to truly be competitive. It seemed the Johnson's numbers suffered late last year because the offense wasn't opened up enough. Did the lack of experience and depth cause the regression?

So did the Bucs do anything to really improve their situation from the draft. I thought the first round receiver pick was a bit of a stretch, but then again, they needed some speed at that position.

Actually the offensive numbers were up last year sf.
Brad johnson fell apart at the end of year big time
when our o line let him down like all last year.

our offense went from 24th in the nfl the year we won
the superbowl to 10th last year. However our defense
went down from 2nd to 5th.

    Mccardell,lee,clayton,morris,galloway will lead our
wr's. Brad's job is safe no way griese takes his job.

As for garner our rbs are used in a commitee role.
Garner will split his carrys with jamel white and
mike alstott. No one knows what will happen to
pittman whether we release him or not.

They were up last year, but down when it counted. I had Johnson on my fantasy team and he costed me a playoff spot the week they played the Jags. I know the Jags defense was improving as the year went on, but the receivers could not get open in that game. I needed 11 fantasy points and he gave me 7 or something. It was horrible.

So monitoring the Bucs towards the end of the season was painful. Their offense was as inept as I've seen it under Gruden. They need young receivers. I hope Clayton, Morris, and Galloway help. Garner will definitely help if he stays healthy. He's no spring chicken.

Thats our hope i think jamel white really adds to
the backfield. I myself think he is a upgrade over
stecker. Yes late year brad and the o line was horrid.
It explains why brad had in the first 5 games over
14 tds and 3 ints then his numbers went down as
his protection went down. Its a new a year with
new faces i keep ranting and how excited i am about
our o line. I think this could be one of our best o line
we had in long long time. This will make a world of
    diffrence.

I know the feeling. I'm excited as well. Every year brings new hope that your team will resurrect itself and be the World Champs. You're in one of the toughest divisions in football. Good Luck!

Hey Bucs, any work on Garner? Does he really have a chance to return to 2002 form? He didn't look like he was showing signs of age, but he's been through some injuries now. What's the inside scoop?

I don't see Brad Johnson losing his job to Griese, or at least not yet. The Bucs management is over McCardell and is ready to move on with a former Raider star and Dallas outcast....
