    QB - McNabb
    RB - Westbrook / Buckhalter
    WR - Owens
    WR - Pinkston / Mitchell
    TE - Smith / Lewis

Maybe the Eagles have too much talent...? They have two capable running backs which leads me to my first question. Who will win the job or will it be running back by committee? Owens is clearly the go-to guy now, but who wins the second spot? Will it be Pinkston or Mitchell? Both have shown flashed of talent, but neither seem to be great. My guess is Pinkston, but maybe Reid will draft someone. Last question is will McNabb & Owens be a huge fantasy combo this year? Or will they be a big fat bust?

this is what i think is going to happen...
    1. westbrook wins the running back by comitee because he did a pretty good job running last year
    2. pinkston and mitchell are evenly spread out talent wise but i think it would go to pinkston because he has a little more experience
    3. mcnabb-owens a combo? my guess is yes, a QB who can scramble and a WR who can catch and run, probably every play, the first person he looks for will be owens

I just wondered what the chemistry will be like. Instant success or better as the year wears on?

Of course it will be better as the year goes on. Infact, the Eagles are close to .500 in September under Andy Reid, and have the best record in November in December since year 2000. They are the kind of a team that plays better in later stages of the season. I think McNabb will be the fantasy champ this year. My prediction

    3600 yards, 32 - 36 TD's, 300 Rushing yards, 4 - 6 rush TD's

    Thats pretty damn good

He definitely has the tools now. I think the fact that they let Staley go will help lessen the confusion. Running back by committee doesn't always work. Westbrook is a little small, but he played well last year. As long as they can rely on Westbrook or Buckhalter 80% of the time giving the other back 20% of the carries, I think they'll play well. McNabb is due for a big year, but I say that with cautious optimism. Owens should be an instant hit, hopefull the egos won't cause too many problems. McNabb isn't used to sharing the spotlight.

Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good... this year will tell alot about McNabb's character.

No real changes here except Westbrooks value has gone up since the departure of Staley and injury to Buckhalter. Smith's value may not increase if Lewis continues to steal time and catches from him.
