Hey guys, Derek Ross signed with the Vikings today. Just wondering about why he was cut after a pretty good rookie season? Poor attitude? Thanks.

Unfortunately, he couldn't translate attitude and work ethic into the benefits he could have. He is a great street player. He did need to work on his technique, but that's not too far out of line from a normal rookie. If you can get him turned around personally, he would be a great pickup for you. Parcells is usually one of the best at getting people to perform. Since he gave up on Ross, maybe it is a lost cause.

Vikings seem to be a safe haven for guys with talent and poor attitudes.
