The night of the draft, I was just excited to be a part of the NBA. It was a great feeling to hear my name called and to walk across the stage and shake David Stern?s hand. No matter how many times I imagined what it would be like, the real experience was completely different. After my name was called, I spent about two hours backstage taking pictures and giving interviews. After we left Madison Square Garden, we headed to Jay-Z?s Club, 40-40. My old high school teammate, Bracey Wright, and I had a joint draft night party there. All of our family members were there with us. It was a long night. Utah Other than the 5:00am wake-up call, my first trip to Salt Lake City was great. It?s unbelievable how much the people of Salt Lake City love the Jazz. There were tons of people and media waiting for us at the airport when we arrived. It was cool. I spent the rest of the day at press conferences, in interviews, filming commercials and meeting people. </div> <div align="center">Source</div>
