I don't see how this could possibly be legit, but HOOPSWORLD Publisher Steve Kyler is (supposedly) reporting that the Jazz WANT to trade Williams to us for Outlaw/Blake/Rudy (to achieve greater balance and payroll flexibility).

Perhaps the commenter using "Steve Kyler" as a username is an imposter, but could you imagine if this is for real? :smiley-pray:

LOL. Such a lie. Division rival? LMAO.

But anyway, pretending that is true, HELL YEAH! I'd give up anyone not named Roy, LMA, Oden for him... I'd package Bayless, Rudy, Batum, Joel, Outlaw, 1st, cash and take back a bad contract. He is amazing. But if we can get him for what is being proposed? LOL! GIT ER DUN!

Sorry, if the Jazz "wanted" to trade us Williams for those players, this deal would have been announced already before the voodoo spell KP was working wore off.

    That's one WACK trade. lol

The only trade that would probably interest the Jazz(that didn't include Roy) would be a package of LMA, Oden and maybe Rudy or a draft pick.

Re: Deron Williams to Portland?! Could it be? Damn, guess not

Looks like all the "Steve Kyler" comments have already been deleted (Wow, that was fast). Sorry 'bout that.

The way you can tell this isn't true is because it hasn't happened yet.

I don't want to live in a world where KP would turn down an offer like this one. If Paul Allen found out his GM turned down an offer like this one, I would imagine KP would be out of a job post haste.

I agree. I'd much rather have Blake than Williams

Not that this will happen anyway, but you can never have enough good players.

As it stands right now, by the way, we have 1 star

Yes, he is. But this rumor is bullshit anyhow. I have said that guys knows no more than any of us before, he is just a fan with a stage. This just proves it. But even he wasn't this stupid before. My guess is a Blazer homer hacked his website and posted that stuff.

    LoL you are probably right.

I am usually the first to day you do NOT package Batum and Rudy in a trade, but I would for D. Will!!!

Blake, Rudy, Batum, Outlaw, 1st rounders, cash, 2nd rounders, Bayless... all for Will and a bad contract??! Can I have 2 please?

I could see the Jazz being threatened by the competition from Indiana for the whitest team in the NBA and pulling this deal off. :drumroll:

Eh, I just assume LMA and Oden are going to be stars, or, well demanding touches.

So along with our true "star" in Roy, there aint much shit to be given to Deron. I just dont see a possible situation where all four of those guys are going to be happy playing all together.

Well I'd at least give it a chance to work. If it doesn't, any one of those players would fetch something better back than what we gave a few years from now.

Well, LMA and Oden may be stars someday. Deron is a 2nd team all NBA talent. With a back court of D-Will and Roy, you would have one of the best, if not the best, back court in the whole NBA.

And that's why this will never, ever happen. Utah fans would revolt if D-Will ever got traded.

Darrin Williams has the same problem Brandon Roy does. He has to shoulder too much of the load. They would be perfect for each other.

Winning championships seem to make everyone happy. Add Deron Williams to our roster, without giving up any starters, and we are championship contenders for the next decade. I think most guiys would be happy to be in that situation.
