If you looked at Rudy Gay's 29-point, 10-rebound, 4-steal stat line from yesterday's double-overtime loss in Houston you might think he was outstanding--if not for the fact he shot an astonishing 11-of-37 from the field, making his 29-point effort the second most anaemic chucking display since 1985 (FGA vs. FGM). To make matters worse, DeMar DeRozan somehow shot 6-of-25, an even lower percentage than Gay, with the two combining for a woeful 17-of-62 shooting.
Re: DeRozan and Gay combine for 18-of-62 shooting, nearly set NBA futility record Toronto also had 10 assists on 114 field goal attempts, making this game one of their finest MOSHATS displays of all time.
I don't have a problem with the team losing. I hope they lose the rest of their games. I have an issue with these guys just dragging their trade value down into the abyss.
