Derrick Rose said Chicago will see a different player when the Knicks meet the Bulls Friday and insists he has “no bad blood” for the organization that traded him in June. “I’m not even thinking about that (game),” Rose said. “It’s no bad blood there either. I understand that this is a business and they made a business decision. “People I think they’re making it a big thing because of the trade. I can’t even think that far down the line because we have so many games back to back. But I’ll be prepared just like any other game.” - See more at: http://www.newsday.com/sports/baske...no-bad-blood-between-him-and-bulls-1.12539926
I'll never harbor any ill will against the only Bull to win a MVP other than MJ. He and Thibs created one of the best teams in the NBA and a legit title contender. The Rose story is one of the sadder sports stories around as a Chicago sports fan, IMO. That being said, its good he's gone. I don't think he's going to return to that form again (i could be wrong) and its just time to move on. Perhaps he'll make me regret that with his future play, but that would surprise me at this point.
