The Lions need to get away from this formula of drafting what they think will be high-powered offense and slip right back into another top ten pick, In my opinion, the weakest area of the team is safety. So i am eyeing Michael Huff S out of Texas. This guy is easily the best defensive back in the draft and he could easily make in down to the number nine slot. Considering how free agency has shaken up team needs my mock draft for the top ten goes like this.1: Houston Texans- Reggie Bush RB USC (I mean why not?)2: New York Jets (from New Orleans) I think the Jets will trade up for the #2 pick because the Saints picked up Drew Brees and the could accumulate a few quality picks this way- Matt Leinart QB USC (great fit for NY)3: Tennessee Titans: Vince Young QB TEX (Cap room forced cuts of many veterans, it's time to re-build with the "Air" apparent to Steve McNair)4: New Orleans Saints (from NYJ) D'Brickashaw Ferguson OT VIRGINIA (Gotta protect the new investments blind-side)5: Green Bay Packers: Mario Williams DE NC STATE ( He would be the final piece to a devastating defensive front in GB, which helps a young secondary. Not to mention he weighs 300 and runs 4.7)6: SF 49ers: Vernon Davis TE MARYLAND (Alex Smith NEEDS targets)7: Oakland Raiders: A.J. Hawk LB OHIO ST. (Needs solid defense to coddle QB Andrew Walter's confidence, so why not take the best defensive player in the draft?)8: Buffalo Bills: Broderick Bunkley DT FSU (Everyone sees him fitting the Buff's cover two scheme very well)9: Detroit Lions: Michael Huff S TEX ( The Lions so desperately need help in the secondary and this guy is an all-world ball hawk that makes HUGE plays)10: Arizona Cardinals: Jay Cutler QB Vandy (They must have a back-up plan for the time bomb that is Kurt Warner, Cutler is VERY solid, VERY talented.)

Theres no way Jay Culter is dropping to 1049ers have a solid TE in Eric Johnson so they have important needs than a TERaiders are most likely to draft a Quarterback since they didn't sign any1 in Free Agency

So far, it looks like one of the 3 QBs will drop lower than expected and free agency isn't over yet so that means Raiders can still sign someone.

Titans & Raiders are most likely to draft a QB. Maybe Jets but you never know. I just don't see Oakland signing a QB in Free Agency

Why would they need two young QBs when they already have one? It wouldn't make sense.

The Raiders love Andrew Walter and I just don't see them targeting a QB in the draft...

I dont think the Jets will trade UP for Leinart. With how strict we have been about draft picks so far, I cant imagine us packing them to trade up for one player, no matter how 'good' he is. If hes there at 4, it would be a good addition, but were not going to trade up for one.My top 10 right now looks like (Without Trades) (Should the Jets get Matt Schaub for a deal in Abraham)1) Houston - Bush2) New Orleans - Mario Williams3) Tennessee - Leinart4) NY Jets - D'Brickashaw(Although id hate this pick personally)5) Green Bay - AJ Hawk6) San Francisco - Vernon Davis7) Oakland - Vince Young8) Buffalo - Haloti Ngata9) Detroit - Michael Huff10) Arizona - Jay Cutler (Although I expect someone to trade up for him before #10...maybe Baltimore)Should the Jets not get Schaub then....4) NY Jets - Cutler5) Green Bay - AJ Hawk6) San Francisco - D'Brickashaw7) Oakland - Vince Young8) Buffalo - Vernon Davis9) Detroit - Huff10) Arizona - Winston Justice OT

I dont see them trading up either unless they really wanted a QB, but they will probably get Huff.

Lions could look DE too. The secondary is no good, but alot of that has to do with the fact that there is no pass rush.Just a thought.
