This is just an idea. What do you think?

    Detroit Sends -

    Zeljko Rebraca
    Ben Wallace
    Future 1st Round Pick

    Phoenix Sends -

    Amare Stoudamire
    Bo Outlaw

If you added in Joe Johnson then it wouldn't work cap wise. Ben Wallace may be the best rebounder now, but in a few years he will no longer be a top five Center and Amare Stoudamire will be an All-Star. This would be a great future investment by Detroit. A frontcourt of Milicic and Stoudamire would be killer.

Then that would be ripping Pistons big time...Amare will be great for the future..but Ben is VERY important to the Pistons NOW....he does things that don't show up on the box score...

I think Ben is too important and is a big factor in the Piston's success, I think trading him would be outrageous.

Trading Ben for Amare wouldn't really be outrageous. Amare has potential to be five times greater than Ben Wallace will ever be. On the Pistons Amare should become a guarunteed All-Star. At first I thought this trade was ripping off the Suns.

Now ben really is underrated [IMG]

Amare is a good young player..but right now Pistons are as good because of Ben..Amare won't bring the defence, block shots...energy that ben brings....and the fact he can't get players scared to go inside like ben does...

How about Zarko for Okar? Then Darko and Zarko can play together. Suns get a good center.

I would not do it from the Suns perspective. Amare is already a better offensive force than Ben and has good enough defense to intimidate those trying to go inside. Amare doesn't have as much defensive energy as Ben, but Bo Outlaw sure as hell does. Overall the Suns would be giving up more in both combined offense and defense for my tastes.

Pistons are really high on Okur...so I doubt they will consider this....As for this current trade...Suns wouldn't do it as they think Amare is a future star and they may be right...he is a great talent....but Pistons have made it clear that Ben Wallace is untouchable...
