Detroit Tigers: Is Prince Fielder and Miguel Cabrera the best 3/4 in Baseball?

When the Detroit Tigers signed Prince Fielder in the offseason, Fielder left another MVP caliber teammate, Ryan Braun, for Miguel Cabrera. Braun and Fielder terrorized NL pitching for years. They were arguably the best 3/4 combination since David Ortiz and Manny Ramirez.

Cabrera has been regarded as one of the best hitters in baseball. Perhaps the best hitter in baseball. When Fielder joined the Tigers, high expectation where immediately placed on the two. Rightfully so. Fielder was leaving Milwaukee after seven outstanding years, and going to back up one of the best hitters in the game.

With all the hype surrounding these two big men, how have they stacked up in their first full season together. Lets compare them to the best of the best 3/4 tandems in the MLB.
