The Detriot Lions will name Tampa's Defensive Line coach Rod Marinelli head coach.

Well this is a Matt Millen guy. I thought Russ Grimm was going to get the job but they want on the defense side of the ball which is smart in my opinion. Now he needs to find a solid QB, lineman, and offensive coordinator and then maybe the NFC North will worry about the Lions. Until then it's the Vikings and Bears show for a while.

Detriot has a pretty good defense and with a good head coach like Marinelli could bring that defense to a top 10 defense. Now he just has to get that offense going

Wow this made the news. Too bad a new coach isn't going to do much. They don't give enough power to the Head Coach. They need better players.

Matt Millen needs to go. Even moreso than Ted Thompson does.
