It sure doesn't seem like we have a coach who is working with our guys on interior scoring. Has Neil/Terry been leaning on Kaman to do that? We fired Hughes last summer. I didn't hear who they brought in to replace him. Who was the coach that worked with LMA? Despite Aldridge's desire to drift further away from the basket, at least he had some very solid post moves (that were rarely used.)
That's who it was. I couldn't remember his name. I just remember him using huge foam arms to work with LA down on the block. I'm curious what the team currently employs.
That's an upgrade if you are trying to sleep. It's a downgrade if you are trying to get your big men to have toughness.
That makes a lot of sense actually... (LA working on post moves in 2013) *fan gently blowing in his direction* "Oooooh man that's chilly, I better step back and shoot this 15 foot jumper where it's nice and warm!"
Vonleh ought to get some burn at center - when he's ready. His base is ridiculously strong. He can check Drummond on strength alone. His reach is also the same as: Meyers, Ezeli and Plumlee. Meyers is a center and only a center. He can't chase around PF's with his lack of lateral movement.
Natebishop3 actually liked this post about you not knowing an assistants name...kind of proves my original point...
Jim Moran has assumed the 'big man coach' duties for the most part but he is only 6'7" so tougher to teach what you never really did.
