<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">When the Nets traded Kenyon Martin for three draft picks almost two years ago, critics were quick to claim the end was near, that Jason Kidd would leave, that the team would be "cheap til Brooklyn". Now, says Sean Deveney of The Sporting News, the development of Nenad Krstic--following on the acquisition of Vince Carter--makes that deal look like it was the right move at the right time.</div>

It was a good move, but some fans believe that isnt Carter that has helped this team. They believe its Kidd who helped Carter. Last year when Carter carried NJ to the playoffs showed pretty much that he could do it, but Kidd will always get the credit since there are so many VC bashers.

Carter is good when he decides to play.

The thing is, he won't play unless he has other stars on his team. Theoretically, it is Kidd's fault. [IMG]

Considering that they weren't willing to pay him the money he wanted, that was a pretty great trade. 3 first rounders? I'm sure Babcock wished he could've got that much for VC.

LOL It's not like he's on my team.

In fact, when he asked to join the Magic, we said no.

You don't get paid $14 million and don't play.

I've been in Vince Carter's house in Orlando and it's disgusting to think he doesn't even work for it, he just throws games because he's lazy. He's a disgrace to the league.
