If this happens it has the potential to be the greatest trade by BC, he would be a great help to bosh and his an excellent rebounder!

Really? He's a poor defender, an iffy shooter, and he has an ugly contract. If you're okay with all of those, then I guess he's your guy!

I don't know about excellent rebounder, but I do like Diaw. He's a solid role player that can do a bit of everything. Just gotta keep him away from all the crepes in France.

Yea, I'm not all that excited about this either. He's been really inconsistent and unmotivated since he got his big contract and that's exactly the opposite of what this team needs. Our players are already too passive as it is.

Diaw has skills. That being said, he showed up to Phoenix's training camp fat and unready to compete, and had a lackluster season despite signing a big contract. Diaw is right for a different kind of team than ours.

I don't want him. With the 17th pick, we can get someone who will be better than Diaw. Also, I think just Ford is enough. They need a PG, and so I think a 1 for 1 is alright. But for Diaw, I'm not in for trading the pick.

The Shaq trade came in the middle of the season. Diaw's been a disappointment far before that.

Diaw's got all the skills. When Amare went down a couple seasons ago, Diaw stepped up and played C and excelled at it. He can play any of the 5 positions. His issue is that with Amare and Marion, he was relegated to 6th man, and the numbers in the post above show he was pretty good at it.

I like his skillset and he'd be a great addition to replace what Garbo used to give us. But I don't want to include the 17th pick in any deal. That's too much of an investment in a player that has quite a few question marks surrounding him.

I could see this happening but only for Ford not the 17th pick, and also if the Raptors are able of grabbing a SF at 17th like Rush or Greene then they might do that. Ohterwise I am not interested at all, Diaw's contract is really ugly and this only adds more so called "depth" to the Raptors instead of adding a second go-to scorer. If this trade goes through we are looking at a mirror image of the Raptors 07-08 roster next season with the addition of Diaw and subtraction of Ford.
