Two quick non-UFC rumours for today. The first is that Nick Diaz and Eddie Alvarez may scrap for the vacant EliteXC Lightweight Championship. There is supposedly a verbal agreement for this fight to take place but nothing has been signed. The second is that Strikeforce Lightweight Champion Josh Thompson, fresh off a pointless non-title win at Strikeforce at the Mansion II Saturday, would like to fight DREAM Lightweight Champion Joachim Hansen. The date for this bout would be November 21st if all parties agree.
