Did any one else get a hard on when Asik shoved Chandler in the paint

Asik and Chandler are battling in the paint during a series in the second quarter. Asik's first stint in the game, at the end of the first quarter, didn't go well, but he got another opportunity because of Taj Gibson's and Kirk Thomas' foul trouble. Asik was doubling a guard on one particular play and Chandler had inside position. So, Asik just picks up Chandler and sets him down, claiming inside position. It was absolutely a foul but he didn't get whistled.

I got a little stiffy, no homo.

Asik is quick and has a good nose for the ball. What wasn't on display until last night was how much the dude loves to battle and fight in the paint. He was looking for contact and pushing Chandler around as he wanted. You have to imagine that playing against Boozer, Noah and Thomas in practice has helped him to develop his skills.

I still don't see any ceiling for how good Asik can be. Bench player, yes, starter, maybe, all star, possibly. Last night he played great defense and made a number of deflections and blocks. He established good position on offense and drew a series of fouls, even if he still hasn't learned how to finish in the paint yet. It was another best game of the season.

I was impressed with Omar's defense and rebounding. I was also impressed with his aggressiveness offense, although the kid has to learn to dunk the ball. He gets the ball, hesitates or fakes, then tries to go up for a lay up. By that time, he either loses the ball or his defender is set to guard him. If he learns to get the ball then IMMEDIATELY go up for the dunk, he could either score or get a foul on someone or both. The kid is a legit 7'. No need for lay ups.

    '

Given he scored 5 points in his best game of the season and he is 24, I'm going to have to go with a ceiling. Very good bench player/below average starter.

He most-likely will never be an all star. He does have a shot at being a solid starter (10/8) who can block a couple shots per game.

I really like Asik, but jeez.

He's been a nice addition and he has a bit of an edge to him that I like a lot, but his roughing up of Chandler was not the Asik image that sticks in my mind. That's a Q2 play where he got a nice pass at the basket and brought the damned ball below his knees to gather himself for his shot. When he eventually felt comfortable enough to attempt a shot, most of the Mavs were there to foul his 53% free throw shooting ass.

I was watching with my son (now 22). I used to coach his grade school team. I screamed at the TV, "Stay Tall, Dammit!"
My son started laughing because he remembered me yelling the same thing at our bigs when I coached.

Omer really needs to knock that weak shit off.

I got a semi-hard but, as per usual, all that blood rushing to engorge my massive penis caused me to pass out before I could maintain and sustain a complete erection.

The irony of having a privy member so huge that is useless in a practical application is almost a poignant Twilight Zone bitter fate episode, in an R-rated mode.

    Ah Bartleby! Ah humanity!

Sounds like one of those "genie-lamp" things gone bad.

Are you certain that when you're passed out "practical applications" are not possible? Have you asked your wife? I mean, it'd kinda suck for you being unconscious and all, but maybe it's not a total loss.

Good thing you did, nothing would have been safe that night.
