they made some very good points, although I must admit I wasn't listening thoroughly. One guy suggested that Ratliff start bc of his veteran nature, he wouldn't get into foul trouble like Perk would very easily in the beginning of the game. He said it would be better to work Perk in after the waters (officiating) has been tested. interesting point. They also stressed the value of Tony Allen on this team, and I completely agree. They said his defense was one of the most important asets any of the role players on the team has. They also mentioned Green as a top candidate for the NBDL again this year. I was a little surprised by this. I thought since he had some real game experience and had beefed up a little he would be higher on the totem pole. Instead, a few of the guys said Powe would be a better 12th man. Many of them were pretty high on Powe, saying that he'll be a player in this league for a long time. They said he was "very nba-ready".They also brought up a good point that Doc doesn't know who to play with who. He tries to put five scorers in the game rather than having a few scorers with some defenders and rebounders. They also touched on how ridiculous Doc's dependance on vets was last season. one guy said the only way Scalabrine could defend someone is to show them his game face and for them to fall over laughing. haha
