Did anyone else realize Wesley is one of our team captains?

    Obviously as a veteran and not by example, lol. Well he did have a good game tonight, hopefully his play can stay like that all season.

    Well, I don't understand why u people hate him so much. Yes, he is a bit old and slow. But he always does his best on offense and deffense. He used to be a non-stoptable scorer in Hornet. I love Wesley + B Davis combo. I think the coach just wanna other players learn his good attitude of playing BB. [​IMG]

    Wesley actually did good tonight. Wesley is being underrated because the Houston Rockets fans are focused on offense because of low shooting by the WHOLE team except last night. Wesley's defense is being overlooked. The only time hes not effective on D is when hes gaurding a much taller gaurd in the post. EX. Jerry Stackhouse, Vince Carter

    Um......Your giving the guy way too much credit. His defense this season has been very close "non existent". He struggles with just about every player he's guarding every night.

    Juwon Howard should be Captain instead of Wesley. Howard is just as experienced except her plays better and is an ex-allstar. If Sura were healthy he'd be a great captain.

    didn't they used to give Cs to captains? I know T-Mac had one in 03-04 for the magic...is it just up to the team or the player?

    I don't see what difference that makes. The captains already know they're captains so having the big C on the jersey just means they will be flaunting it to me. As long as they're being good leaders and setting good examples, the C means nothing.

    I don't think its flaunting it at all unless they're all cocky about it. I just thinks its a cool little addition but it isn't like it matters since they don't have em. Do any players in the league have the C? I haven't noticed it on anyone
