I just looked at our full season schedule and I see that our final scores have been substantially lower then they were at the beginning of the season (especially the past 5 games where we have struggled to even get to 90 points). It seems as if Nate has pulled the plug on the uptempo offense that we played at the beginning of the year and that we have settled back into his mundane half court offense. I haven't seen anyone talk about this at all but it seems to be the case. My theory as to the change of pace is turnovers. Nate put on his Sarge cap and slowed it down. Problem is our shooters are in a major slump so that only magnifies the problem. We have a very athletic team but play like an old team that wants to slow it down (like the Celtics). If we went uptempo tonight we win going away. I think the results speak for themselves. Your thoughts???

The team was still fifth in pace coming into tonight. I expect us to settle somewhere in the middle of the pack as Nate goes to what he's most comfortable with: a slow-paced game.

I don't think that our team is particularly athletic. Aldridge, Batum and Wallace are the only three guys on the roster that seem particularly athletic for their positions.

Nate has always been slower on the road than at home. Our pace is still faster than last year overall.
