Yesterday on TNT, before my cable went out (grrrr), I saw the pre-game show with EJ/Chuck/Kenny and David Aldridge. They were talking about the trade deadline, and Aldridge (who is a very reliable and credible source) said that Miami had a done deal on the table that was James Posey and Chris Quinn for Chucky Atkins, Stromile Swift, and a future 1st round pick. The deal was done, ready to go, then <u>Miami</u> called at the last minute and said they didn't want to do it anymore. WTF? After the Wade injury, especially, and after getting Eddie Jones... they don't do this? Are you joking? Chucky is a serviceable guard to have, Stro is Stro but he has his moments... and a first round pick! For Posey and Quinn? And you call the trade off? That is absurd.
Wow. I'll take Atkins over Quinn any day. James Posey could book this offseason anyway and we could use a somewhat young big man like Swift. Wow then you throw in the 1st! I'm with CB, WTF Riles!!! :shok:
