What was that comment in response too? They didn't like the fact that we didn't pull our starters until the fourth? Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
I think it was in response to the penalties. It was the younger of the two announcers who kept wanting Tenn to go for it on 4th and long at their own 35
I vaguely remember it. it was in the 1st quarter when things were going bad. It was Ed Cunningham, former.... you guessed it... Husky
Didn't we get that jackass Ed Cunningham last week as well? I think he was the commentator taking out his ass last week.
Cunningham is very passive aggressive with most of his comments when it comes to us. It's one thing to make points, it's another to be using your job as a way to jab a team your school can't beat. He needs to be replaced!
He doesn't bother me. I'd rather have a hater instead of a homer broadcasting the game. He was giving the Ducks lots of props during the 2nd and 3rd qrts and because he's a Husky honk they were honest. Kind of like Rob Mosley, now that he works for the Ducks instead of the RG he doesn't report anything bad or even controversial. Everything is sunshine and roses. (And I agree, there isn't a lot report about the ducks that is bad or controversial, lol)
I think my favorite comment was "Tennessee has come out and STUNNED the Ducks!!!" - announcer with 10 minutes still remaining in the 1st quarter
The commentators were horrible, but what else is new? I did think that "some kind of yellow" thing was pretty funny. Oh well, we won, we crushed them. It was one of our best games in recent memory.
Ed Cunningham is a total Husky honk. If you haven't noticed, hes worn a purple and gold tie the last two weeks while announcing Duck blowout wins, and at the start of the Tennessee game, his first words were "as a graduate of the University of Washington blahblahblah"... Completely unprofessional, and his backhanded compliments while ripping on the Ducks for beating BCS conference team handily smack of what has become of the Husky fanbase. I actually think many Husky fans are more concerned with what Oregon is doing on Saturdays than their own team.
