    An unusual arrangement of infielders for the Cardinals and an uncharacteristic run of walks from Phillies lefty Cliff Lee generated most of the hubbub at Busch Stadium on Monday.

    But it took something familiar to win the game.

    Jake Westbrook found his form.

    The righthander completed seven innings for the first time this season and leaned heavily on a new-look defense to pitch the Cardinals to a 3-1 victory against Philadelphia.

    The win against the team with the best record in the National League halted the Cardinals' losing streak at three games and proved refreshingly crisp after a misspent weekend in Cincinnati.
