Dillian Whyte (24-1, 17 KOs) edged former WBO heavyweight champion Joseph Parker (24-2, 18 KOs) in defeating him by a questionable 12 round unanimous decision on Saturday night at the O2 Arena in London, England. The scores were 113-112, 115-110, and 114-111. Boxing News 24 scored it for Parker 114-111. Parker appeared to win rounds 1, 3, 4, 5, 7, 10, 11 and 12. Whyte looked gassed out and flabby in the championship rounds. I hate to say it, but the better man didn’t win tonight. Parker deserved the victory, but like I said before, he probably needed a knockout for him to beat Whyte on his own home turf and he failed to do that. The decision was terrible, but so utterly predictable that it wasn’t even funny. read more https://www.boxingnews24.com/2018/07/dillian-whyte-decisions-joseph-parker-results/
