Forward Ike Diogu said Sunday he is hoping to play the final two games of summer league after giving his sore left knee some time off. Diogu said the knee started bothering him a few weeks ago; vice president Chris Mullin added that it was worn down from Diogu's offseason training in Arizona.

Diogu has sat out all of the Warriors' practices so far, but both he and Mullin consider it a precautionary measure.

"It's not really anything," Diogu said. "Just want to make sure that nothing happens." </div>

Man, I love watching Diogu play. He's got the hustle of Brian Cardinal, but the skills of a true paint player. If only he was bigger and slightly more athletic, he'd probably dominate more. I'm still pretty impressed with his footwork. It's been a long time in Warriorland since we had a big man that could post up, block shots, pass, drive the ball a little, and rebound.
