I wonder if the Fins thought they had to get in front of the Iggles to pick him?

Three tackles and an OLB taken in the first 4 picks. A little different . . .

And at 6 or 7, he'd be okay, but 3? And to trade up to get him? I think the Fins had greater needs and there were better players on the board.

I thought making round one prime time would take away from the later rounds, but damn, there are a lot of great skill position players still available. I'll be really interested in watching tomorrow, not just to see where guys like Geno Smith go, but for guys like Monte Ball, Le'Veon Bell, Eddie Lacy, Johnathan Franklin, Marcus Lattimore, etc. I guess the fact that not a single RB was taken on day one could be an indictment of the strength (or lackthereof) of the RB class, but I really think it's probably more of an indictment of the state of the game. Any of those guys would have been easy first round prospects a couple of years ago.

I'm also interested to see where Quinton Patton goes. Tavon Austin had the numbers, Robert Woods had the hype, but from what I saw last season, Patton was not only the best, but most NFL ready WR in the draft.
