<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> Diouf piques Bobcats' interest Former Queens makes good impression at tryout DAVID SCOTT Staff Writer FORT MILL - If Moustapha Diouf ever makes it to the NBA, he should remember a nearly hidden moment Sunday that might have boosted him toward that goal. Late in a game at the Charlotte Bobcats' free-agent tryout, Diouf, a 6-foot-11 former Queens player, had one of his shots swatted away. Diouf didn't mope about it, and as the nine other players on the floor observed the ball bouncing down the floor, Diouf dove after it. Bobcats general manager/coach Bernie Bickerstaff, his eyes no doubt bleary from a weekend of watching dozens of mid-level former college players chase their NBA dreams, snapped to attention. "He kept playing," Bickerstaff said. "You like guys who just move on to the next play. They don't spend time feeling sorry for themselves. They're just competing." </div> Link I think this guy deserves a spot on the roster he hustles and he had good years in queens from what I've heard. I hope he makes the cut and gets a spot on the roster & playing time.
Hustle, that is something our team needs, if this guy hustle's and has the heart and ability to play in the NBA, I want him in the Bobcat's lineup. Hearing this, this guy IMO has the potential to be a good role-player in the NBA. Give the guy a chance, hopefully that play will widen Bickerstaff's eyes and give Diouf that chance everyone so desperately wants.
