Dirk at the 5?

    I've heard this a couple of different times. You've got to be kidding right? You guys aren't going to play Dirk at center are you?

    Who else will play center Bradley and who will u keep on the bench walker/jamison.

    I would start Bradely at the 5 and have Jamison come off the bench.

    play fortson in the center, dirk PF, walker SF, finley SG and nash PG

    bring jamison off the bench and make him like it

    dirk at center would cause a bunch of mismatches, both ways. no center in the league could guard him, but he couldn't guard many centers in the league. personally i would start jamison at sf and bring walker off of the bench and either start bradley or fortson.

    I think Jamison is better than Walker. So start Jamison. There aren't alot of big heavy centers that will kill Dirk if he played center.

    True. The only time the Mavs will have problems when Dirk's at center is when they play the Lakers, Kings, Rockets, Nets, and Bulls. They'd have problems defending the centers on those teams anyways. I don't think having Dirk play the 5 occasionally would be much of a problem.

    Their starting 5 will be

    Nash
    Finley
    Walker
    Dirk
    Fortson

I think he would have a hard time against the shorter stocky centers like Grant, Thomas, Davis.

    Ovverrated, how many teams in the league have a pf at center anyway?

    how many good centers are there now not alot most of the best centers are either too old or retiring (Mutmbo, Hakeem, Ewing, etc.)
