wow this forum has been awfully quiet since going down 2-1 to the warriors. come on support the team. anyway do ya'll really think he'll get mvp still seeing how he's disappeared in this series? he really hasn't delivered this series and i'm surprised he's not averaging 20+ in this series. other than his too little too late back to back three pointers late in game 4, he just hasn't been there. also on top of all things he goes on national tv and say 'if we lose this game we're out of it our season is over' come on be a leader. way to motivate your team. and this guy deserves the mvp? give the award to nash or duncan. but then again i wouldn't be too surprised if dirk gets it, seeing how marcus camby won DPOY. duncan showed him who really deserved that award. if not duncan bowen deserved it. but then again we're in a league that doesn't notice the small little differences that decides a game. all they notice are stats.
Well I'm pretty sure the votes are already in and he's probably going to get it. With that said, he definitely hasn't been playing like an MVP the past 4 games which is really disappointing. It just goes to show how much this team needs Dirk in order to win. I do believe that he deserves the award for the regular season because I don't think the Mavs would have won as many games as they did without him. His two three-pointers in the end of this last game came a little late. Where were they in the first 3 quarters of the game? If Dirk doesn't show up in the next game, I think it's safe to say that Dallas' season is probably over.
