http://sports.espn.go.com/dallas/nba/news/story?id=5987749 Wow I hope thats a break. http://sports.espn.go.com/dallas/nba/news/story?id=5987749 so the mavs are missing their 2 best players
jwquick Blazers center Joel Przybilla will return tonight in Dallas after missing 7 games with sprained left ankle 11 minutes ago via Twitter for iPhone
Sounds like Pryzbilla is. It will be damn nice for Aldridge and Camby to be able to get some rest for a change so they are fresh for the 4th.
No witzki, then we got this! he's the one who shut the door on us last time. Looks pretty damn good to me considering what he came back from.
It was to be expected coming back from two knee surgeries, but as you said, he's better than Marks even in his current state.
We could use Joel to bang with Chandler and Haywood. LMA needs to continue to stay out of foul trouble. Joel will help.
jeskeets RT @ArtGarcia_NBA: Caron Butler to miss rest of season. Had surgery today to repair ruptured right patellar tendon
Nuggets beat us without Melo. Nothing is a given. Mavs still have two former All stars in Jason Kidd and Shawn Marion.
thats true but no dirk and butler is as good as it gets vs mavs and kidd is not the same guy without dirk
Remember one thing boys.... teams play harder when they are backed against wall. No blazer fan should ever think a beat up team is an easy win! We should all know this better then any other fans. I read a Houston thread Monday and the first post was.... "half of blazers team is out, should be a easy win!"
We shouldn't take anything for granted, but the two guys who killed us last time we played in Dallas, Nowitski (21/5/3) and Butler (23/7/4), are both out. LaMarcus has had some big games (35/10 in the last game) in his home town. Let's hope he has a big game tonight and we steal a win in Dallas to start this road trip. BNM
Only problem with that is half of Portland's team wasn't out. The team that played the Rockets is as healthy as the team will be all season minus Przy who doesn't play a big role anymore anyways. Greg's played 82 games in 4 years so he really doesn't count Roy is done so it's hard for me to say he counts as well The team right now is pretty much as healthy as they're going to be all season and because there's been some consistency in the starting 5 it's starting to gel a little bit.
Totally agree. I was wondering if I missed something dramatic... Joel has played 87 minutes this year. I'm going to give him some time to knock the rust off before I made any judgments about where his abilities are. Ed O.
